Overview

Hi, my name is LaQuey McJunkin. I'm a proud graduate of TPHS and began my career as a Radiologic Technologist after earning my degree from Roane State Community College. I worked as an X-ray tech for 11 years and, during that time, became a mother to two wonderful children. While I loved working in healthcare, I realized I wanted a career that allowed me to spend more time with my family.

That’s when I learned about the opportunity to start a Health Science program at TPHS. I pursued and earned my Occupational Teaching License from LMU and stepped into the world of education. My goal has always been to inspire students to develop a passion for the healthcare field—just as I did.

Flash forward 12 years, and I’m still here, doing what I love.
