About Us
Why is TPHS a great place to attend or work?
TPHS is a SACS accredited public high school located in Tellico Plains, Tennessee, which is a part of Monroe County in the lower eastern region of the state. We have approximately 470 students and a staff composed of motivated and knowledgeable faculty members and paraprofessionals. We are also fortunate enough to have a conglomerate of stakeholders and community members that support the academics, arts, athletics, attitude, attendance, and achievements of TPHS.
We have a wide variety of clubs, community organizations, and sports that offer our students multiple elements to become involved at making their time in high school a positive and memorable experience. Our school community has one of the lowest discipline rates compared to other schools in the surrounding areas; we are a "safe" school.
