Atkins Signs with TWU Golf Team

On Monday, November 4, Senior Forrest Atkins signed with TN Wesleyan University's Golf Team. He is a four-year player on the TPHS Golf Team who has attended two State Golf Tournaments. TPHS Beta Club Donates to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital

The TPHS National Beta Club recently donated $750.00 to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and its fight against childhood diseases, especially cancer. Houston Davis, interpreter at TPHS, received the check on behalf of St. Jude. Davis participates in 5K's and half marathons for St. Jude. Atkins Qualifies for State Golf Tournament 2nd Year in a Row

Congratulations to Forrest Atkins for qualifying for the TN State Golf Tournament that is to be held on October 7 and 8. Atkins shot an 80 in the Regional Golf Tournament and finished in the top three. Seniors Cal Moser and Jake Tallent and Sophomore Maddie Dodson also participated in regional play.

FFA Receives Donation

The River Valley AgCredit recently donated $6,000 to the TPHS FFA program. RVAC donated a total of $132,000 in special gifts to 22 FFA chapters in its service areas in western Kentucky and eastern Tennessee.

Dental Services for Students

The Monroe County Dental Clinic sent a form home with your child that describes what services are offered to Monroe County students, which includes transportation to/from school to the dental clinic.

Parents/Guardians - Ask your senior about his/her TSAC account! Seniors have been applying for the TNPromise scholarship for school year 2020-2021. Make sure that you and your senior understand the eligibility requirements/deadlines that must be met!

Beta Club Volunteers

Our TPHS Beta Club has volunteered at multiple events this fall - from fall carnivals to community events. Our seniors can use these hours toward TNPromise hours as well as promoting the National Beta Club message "Lead by Serving Others." We are proud of their giving "spirit!" #maroonmeanssomething
